Supreet Sethi is a systematic trader and technologist who approaches financial markets with an engineering mindset. Rather than relying on narratives or predictions, his trading philosophy centers on identifying measurable signals in market behavior—momentum, volatility expansion, and cross-asset relationships. His work focuses primarily on U.S. equities and index derivatives, particularly the dynamics of the S&P 500 and its interaction with volatility indicators. Supreet studies how volatility, liquidity, and momentum interact to produce large price movements. By combining quantitative analysis with disciplined rules, he seeks to capture opportunities when markets begin to move decisively. A core aspect of his approach is relative strength and momentum analysis, comparing individual securities against broad market benchmarks to identify stocks that are outperforming their peers. His strategies often emphasize simple but robust principles: follow strength, avoid laggards, and remain adaptive to changing market regimes. Supreet also explores the intersection of technology and trading, developing tools and models to analyze market structure, volatility behavior, and systematic portfolio strategies. His background in cloud infrastructure and software engineering informs how he designs trading frameworks—prioritizing automation, reproducibility, and clarity. Above all, Supreet views trading as a discipline of observation and risk management, where success comes not from predicting the future, but from consistently responding to what the market is actually doing. mehr anzeigen
