Although the remarks created short-term reputational pressure, I do not expect a material impact on sales volumes and the market reaction appears disproportionate relative to the underlying fundamentals. 2) Campbell’s is well positioned to benefit from cost-conscious consumers increasingly cooking at home. The company’s diversified portfolio, including Pepperidge Farm cookies and snacks, Cape Cod, Kettle and Late July chips, as well as its 49 percent stake in Rao’s Pasta, a deal I see as very favorable, strengthens its exposure to this trend and provides stable, cash-generating categories. 3) The stock is, in my view, significantly undervalued. Both trading comparables and a DCF valuation using a perpetuity approach indicate meaningful upside. Based on my analyses, I estimate a long-term price potential of approximately 35 percent, to around $38.5 per share, or $33.55 under more conservative assumptions.
