I've been trading for more than 10 years, mainly in Swiss and US stocks. Like so many other traders, I got very euphoric after my first few successful trades, and even greedy after my first real highflyer! So it came as it had to come: I started losing money! It took me about 3 years to realize that emotions were my biggest enemy, so I completely changed my strategy and started to meticulously analyse the past performance of US and European stocks in order to find patterns, that could be explained with behavioural psychology.
