The wikifolio will seek to invest in a limited number of equities evaluated with a fundamental value approach. An exceptional attention is to be placed on what we believe will be the long-term cash-flow generating ability of the underlying companies, competitive position and entrenchment in the respective industry. Furthermore, considerations around management's ability and trustworthiness, as well as pricing considerations are part of the decision making process. The focus of the wikifolio is on long-term capital compounding, and therefore short-term volatility is a secondary concern. On the other hand, the safety of principal in the long-term is an important factor in the investment process. As a result, the wikifolio will try to avoid heavily leveraged businesses, with the notable exception of instances where risk-return characteristics are heavily skewed in it's favour. This wikifolio is only suitable for investors with a long-term investment holding period.
