The assumption of this wikifolio is that investors are supporting sustainable companies and green initiatives by moving their money into eco-friendly stocks. This support will even become even stronger driven by growing pressure from consumers, opinion leaders, investors and politicians. It is assumed that this will have an positive impact on the stock performance of companies being active the area of sustainability The idea of this wikifolio is based on 2 principles: 1. Taking advantage of this trend by targeting companies who disrupt traditionally “dirty” industries, i.e. offering a market proposition to significantly reduce the CO2 footprint in their industry. 2. Leveraging this effect by reinvesting the complete performance fee into sustainable projects. Precisely the performance fee will be completely donated to WWF project "Auftrag Wald!" The wikifolio universe consists mainly on relevant stocks from industries like energy&utilities, automotive and FMCG. Rather established players in theeir sustainable segment than newcomer. Relevant ETF's with sustainability focus might be included as well. Holding period is intended to be mid-to longterm but shortterm adjustments might be done.
