Future of Finance

From my point of view, the financial services industry is ripe for disruption. Either the incumbents raise their game, or new entrants might eat their lunch. The future might turn out to be a mix of the two. Therefore I plan to invest globally in stocks of - traditional players in financial services with a considerable investment into new technologies (or plan to do so) - new players that bring innovation to financial services The selection of stocks will depend upon my personal judgement of how relevant these investments or innovation might be. I will draw upon readily available information on the internet as well as personal experience. I intend to hold a well diversified portfolio of several stocks mid- to long-term and may from time to time exploit short-term trading opportunities.
