The base currency of a wikifolio specifies the currency the trader will trade in within their wikifolio. The virtual cash holdings of a wikifolio are also kept in the currency the trader has selected. A wikifolio can always only be managed in the one base currency the trader irrevocably sets when creating their wikifolio.
Currently, wikifolio traders have the following base currencies available for implementing their trading ideas: Euro (EUR), Swiss Franc (CHF), Pound Sterling (GBP), US Dollar (USD), Nordic Kroner (NOK) Swedish Krona (SEK) and Polish Zloty (PLN).
How can I find wikifolios with a specific base currency?
In wikifolio search, interested users have the option of using the filter “base currency” to limit the search results to the desired currency in which the wikifolio is managed.
When can wikifolios with a currency other than Euro or Swiss Franc defined as their base become investable?
Currently, only wikifolios that have defined Euros of Swiss Franc as their base currency can become investable. But interested wikifolio users can already observe favorites now and put them on their watchlist. You receive a notification by email when a wikifolio on your watchlist becomes investable.
