Generally, any wikifolio.com user can create wikifolios after registration and present their trading ideas to a broad public.
Each wikifolio trader has a trader profile on wikifolio.com on which they provide voluntary information about themselves. Traders are not allowed to give their direct contact details on wikifolio.com, but they can link to personal blogs or social media profiles.
For private traders, the number of simultaneously managed wikifolios is limited to eight, asset managers and media companies can create an unlimited number of wikifolios. Every wikifolio trader, whether private trader, asset manager or media company, can only have one wikifolio in the status “test”.
wikifolios can be closed on request of the trader. Non-investable wikifolios or investable wikifolios without invested capital will be immediately closed at the request of the wikifolio trader. During the closure of a wikifolio with invested capital, all open positions in the wikifolio are sold in a first step and fees are suspended. Investors are now able to sell the wikifolio certificate at the price last determined. If this does not happen in due time, the shares are generally automatically derecognized from the brokerage account at the equivalent value at the end of the year. All closed wikifolios, too, still appear in the profile of the trader.
Traders can only have their wikifolio.com account closed once all wikifolios of the traders are closed.
Should a trader appear dubious, please contact us either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the button “report suspicious content” in the wikifolio detail view.
