In the course of its “life”, a wikifolio passes through several phases. In this tutorial you will learn what is behind the different statuses, what this means for you as an investor, which criteria a wikifolio must meet so a wikifolio certificate can be issued based on it, and what happens when a wikifolio is closed.
There are two wikifolio categories – “classic” wikifolios and wikifolios of wikifolios. In general, all securities of the wikifolio investment universe can be traded in the classic wikifolio. In contrast, only wikifolio certificates are released for trading in wikifolios of wikifolios. wikifolios of both categories can be created and managed by any registered user of the platform.
Depending on who manages the wikifolios, four groups of wikifolios are distinguished.
