Two-factor authentication (2FA)

In order to make even safer for you, we've decided to introduce a two-factor authentication feature (2FA) as an additional level of security as of October 2021.

This feature will be gradually rolled out for all legitimate users. As soon as the feature has been activated for you, you will receive a message after clicking "trade" on the trade view.

  • You can set up 2FA for your account and manage your 2FA apps in account settings.
  • After you have added a 2FA app, each time you do a trade you will be asked to enter a 2FA verification code.
  • This code will be displayed in the app which you have chosen to use for the 2FA process. After successful verification using this code, you will be able to trade for a duration of 20 minutes, without any further interruptions.
  • At the end of this 20-minute period, you will be asked to enter a new 2FA verification code.

I am a legitimate trader. but this feature is not available to me.

In order to ensure that 2FA works seamlessly, we are carrying out a test-phase in several stages. Firstly, 2FA will be activated for a limited number of users, who will then provide us with feedback, leading to the implementation of continous improvements. 

I can't access my 2FA app. What can I do?

When setting up your 2FA app, you will have been given a recovery code and asked to copy and store this in a safe place. In account settings (under 2FA), you can use this recovery code to remove the app which you cannot access and add a new app.

I have lost my recovery code. What can I do?

Please send an email to from the email address you're registered with on In this email, please give us the name of the app you cannot access and attach a photo or scanned copy of your personal ID/ passport. We will process your request as quickly as possible and deactivate the app for you. After that, you will be able to add a new 2FA app.
