Momentum Invest Germany

Research in capital markets has shown that stocks which have performed well in the past tend to do so in the future. Investment strategies that try to exploit this anomaly are very successful in numerous stock markets, especially in Germany. This wikifolio concentrates on the DAX-Family (DAX, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX) and invests in the stocks that have performed best over the previous three to twelve months and rebalances the portfolio each month. The wikifolio Momentum-Invest Germany is motivated by the academic paper "Trading Strategies Based on Past Returns – Evidence from Germany" (Forthcoming in the journal Financial Markets and Portfolio Management) which I have authored.
