Global Portfolio GDP

With this wikifolio you can invest in a global portfolio solely based on country ETFs. The ETFs are weighted by gross domestic product - GDP (data source: International Monatary Fund - IMF). In the past this has shown to be more stable than being weighted by market capitalization. The latter is often the basis for regional ETFs. This wikifolio invests in country ETFs in descending GDP order until the first country with no ETF availabilty is reached. If there are several ETFs available for one country total expense ratio and size of ETF are used as decision criteria. Necessity of rebalancing is being checked once a year. The date depends on publication of GDP data by the IMF. Benchmark for this wikifolio is MSCI ACWI GDP WEIGHTED INDEX.
