Today's brand portfolio includes smart, Freightliner, and Western Star, in addition to Mercedes-Benz, the world's most valuable premium car brand. The project team sees as an advantage that the market entry for new competitors proves to be difficult, as it requires a lot of capital as well as high economies of scale. The business analysis of Mercedes-Benz shows that the company is engaged in the development, production as well as distribution of vehicles in all classes. Overall, the company is active in three segments, which include Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans (49%), Daimler Trucks & Buses (17%) and Daimler Mobility (34%). The analysis of the financial ratios shows that Mercedes-Benz has an annual sales growth of 8.1%, in addition, the project team estimates the return on sales of 2021 in the amount of 17.3% and a P/E ratio of 3.1 as positive. Overall, the analysis of the share is positive, which in turn led the project team to decide to buy.
