I grew up in a German family business in the automotive supplier industry and have thereby been exposed to important lessons around principles that are important for small businesses to succeed.
I have lived in the United States and Switzerland for longer periods of time and developed a fascination for valuations in my late 20s. In my occupational environment in the automotive industry I deal with many different businesses and can learn new things in the challenges we face everyday that are tremondously helpful in valuing the prospects of other businesses.
