I started investing in 2002 after the new economy bubble was busted. First I invested in ETFs and blue chips. Shortly after the financial crisis I made my largest investment ever: an apartment for me and my family in Berlin. Since the mid of the 2010s I professionalized my investment approach, focussing more on small and medium size businesses in Germany and the DACH region. Later this focus widened to further developed countries like UK or the US. In 2017 I founded a company that also works as a family office for me. Today (2024) I manage real money portfolios for me and my closer family with a seven-digit asset volume in total. I am a member of different investing communities and write there about my investments on a regular basis.
