I've been active in the financial markets for over 15 years now, and during that time I've gathered a pretty solid toolkit across a bunch of asset classes—stocks, funds, options, bonds, you name it. My career kicked off in the institutional finance world, where I spent five years in portfolio management in the fund industry. That gave me a deep dive into analyzing, picking, and managing securities like a pro.
Trading started out as a personal passion—I've always been fascinated by markets and how economies tick. Over time, that curiosity turned into a more professional approach: spotting market opportunities systematically and managing risk with a clear strategy.
Right now, the markets are a bit of a rollercoaster—lots of uncertainty, but also plenty of short-term chances if you know where to look. With geopolitics heating up, central banks keeping everyone guessing, and the U.S. political scene (hello, Donald Trump!) stirring the pot, active trading is more important than ever. Keeping an eye on political developments and the wild world of social media is key.
I spend several hours every day diving deep into market analysis so I can react quickly to new info and actively manage my wikifolio. It’s a mix of strategy, speed, and staying sharp.
