The first week after launching a portfolio is always the busiest. Although most positions are selected with a long-term horizon in mind, only in practice will it become clear whether their weightings are set exactly as I want them to be. That’s why I expect more transactions in the early days than will be typical in the coming months. Simply put, it was a matter of fine-tuning weightings, taking partial profits, and creating room for new opportunities. TRIM – KRKA (KRKG) I reduced my position in KRKA by approximately 56%. The sale took place slightly below the purchase price, but this did not reflect a loss of confidence in the company. I needed to free up capital, and of several options, this move made the most sense to me. TRIM – Xylem (XYL) I gradually reduced my position in Xylem by a total of 40%. Part of the position was sold at a 4.68% gain, and the other part at an 8.59% gain. As a result, the weighting decreased by approximately 2.15 percentage points, though the company still accounts for roughly 3% of the portfolio. This was not an exit from the company, but rather a classic realization of a portion of the profit. When you manage to gain nearly 9% in a short period of time, I see no reason to leave the entire position unchanged. TRIM – Duke Energy (DUK) I also reduced my position in Duke Energy, this time by 25%. The company’s weighting fell by roughly 2.8 percentage points, but it remains one of the largest dividend-paying positions in the portfolio. I consider utilities an important part of the strategy, but I don’t want any single company to have too dominant a presence. BUY – Nu Holdings (NU) I used the freed-up capital to open a new position in Nu Holdings (NU). I’m starting out very cautiously on purpose—the current weight is only 0.94% of the portfolio. If the investment thesis holds up and the valuation remains attractive, I may gradually increase the position. I don’t want to build large positions with a single purchase; I prefer to do so gradually. What does this mean? The strategy remains the same. I’m still building a portfolio of high-quality companies with a focus on long-term dividend growth and reasonable valuations. I view the current adjustments as routine “fine-tuning” following the launch of the new portfolio. I expect that, over time, such transactions will become less frequent, and only occasional purchases at attractive prices or ongoing adjustments to the weightings of individual positions will predominate. About

I have been building my portfolio since 2019. Stability, resilience to market cycles and a steady income are important to me. In general, I prefer a combination of a solid core supplemented by stocks that, while currently outside the mainstream, are only on the sidelines temporarily... show more
