I would be lying if I said that I have a 100% successful prediction history. Obviously, I would be doing this full-time if that were the case.
Born into a family of stock enthusiasts—always oriented toward long-term benefits—and having some assets in real estate, I was always inspired by W. Buffett, Mobius, Bury and other traders. My first trade was when I was 16. I also had a period during my student years when I was day-trading with options and knock-outs, but having seen some friends lose their entire savings and become addicted, I stopped and focused on more "realistic" and tangible gains. I have lived in 4-5 countries, speak several languages. I also work as a language teacher, trying to get my foot into consulting. I used to work in industrial marketing and agriculture related jobs (research and farm optimization).
Currently (as of 19.03.25), I would prefer cash to stocks (with some exceptions). Emerging markets (especially India, Mexico, and, when possible, some African nations — excluding the oil-exporting countries of North and South Africa —) seem particularly interesting in the long run. Even Chinese internet stocks (a trend that we were aware of) are probably still attractive in the long run, as well as Chinese consumer spending (staples).
A current (hot) trend would be to invest in Ukrainian agriculture stocks, as uncertainty surrounding the peace negotiations is making these stocks very cheap right now.
