Trading Idea
In this wikifolio usually shares can be bought primarily of companies from Europe and other Industry nations as well as the emerging markets belonging to the G20 countries for example. Other asset classes can be added if the valuation is attractive in my opinion. (bond ETFs or funds, commodity ETFs) Several funds can be added if they seem to be a good opportunity. (property funds, share funds, flexible funds, money market funds and DAB funds). The cornerstones of my investment approach belonging shares of companies usually should be: (also combinations, not all mandatory) 1. low valuation (low PE-ratio, low PCF-ratio, low course book ratio, high or growing dividend) 2. high efficiency / quality, high ROA (return on assets) or high ROE (return on equity) 3. certain growth in revenue or earnings per share (important!, GARP, Growth at a reasonable price) 4. equity ratio which is bigger than approximately 30% 5. shares from the industry nations and emerging markets (G20 countries for example) 6. family businesses The cheaper an asset class is in my opinion, (shares, commodity ETFs, bond ETFs) the more I usually should buy as a percentage of the wikifolio volume. Usually this should be the targets of the minimum - maximum of an asset class in % of the wikifolio volume: shares of companies 20-100%, mostly >50% cash 0-80%, mostly <30 commodity ETFs based on gold, silver or oil for example 0-80%, mostly <50% bond ETFs or bond funds 0-80%, mostly <50% ETF long of Equity Index 0-80%, mostly <30% ETF short of Equity Index 0-10%, mostly 0% several not above mentioned funds 0-80%, mostly <50% Usually this strategy should be pursued, because I am looking for medium-term alpha over the broad stock market, which I would like to beat. By adding commodity ETFs and bond ETFs or other funds I also would like to reduce the maximum decline in case share prices go down. As sources for my information I usually use the Internet, newspapers, screeners, and so on. Usually I intend to hold the shares of companies, bond ETFs or funds, commodity ETFs and other funds 2-5 years if the situation does not deteriorate or I find no better options in my opinion.
