Trading Idea
This investment portfolio is primarily focused on acquiring shares with a high potential for earnings. The choice of stocks will adhere to the renowned CAN SLIM methodology developed by William O'Neil. The key factors for stock acquisition include: Significant quarterly earnings and sales growth Robust annual profit escalation Innovative firms introducing new products or technologies Industry leaders Institutional investor interest The optimal timing for stock acquisition is typically identified through chart analysis, favoring the purchase of high-growth, innovative companies when their stocks surge to new peaks following a consolidation period of several weeks. Opportunities to buy shares also arise when industry leaders dip from peak values, provided their business forecast is positive or there's news to support a higher valuation. Risk Management Strategy: To mitigate losses, each position acquired will be protected with a stop loss ranging from 10% - 20%. The goal of this portfolio is to minimize losses and maximize gains. Normally, a single stock's purchase size at acquisition will represent 3-10% of the entire portfolio, not exceeding 50%. The investment ratio may fluctuate between 0-100%. During challenging market conditions, it's possible for the portfolio to be entirely liquidated, with a transition to holding 100% in gold for several weeks. Investment Scope: The portfolio will predominantly trade in high-quality stocks from all over the world. Sectors ranges from Technology, Consumer Cyclical, Healthcare, Financial Services and more.
