RS Handelssystem

The certificate invests pursuant to an automated trading system that is based on the method of relative strength. The investment process was developed during the late 1960s by the American Robert Levy and provides for investment capital to be invested in stocks that have already exhibited high price increases in the past. Numerous empirical studies prove that with the RS strategy it has been possible to achieve investment results far above average. But less so with blue chips with market breadth, rather with mid-cap equities. The investment universe of this certificate therefore only includes securities from MDAX, SDAX and TecDAX. The original procedure by Levy has been supplemented by several filter conditions to mitigate the typically very high setbacks in bear markets; however, especially with a short-term investment horizon, the risks of the certificates are nevertheless considerable. This certificate is therefore a speculative investment vehicle.
