BRIC geht meinem Informationsstand nach auf eine Veröffentlichung von Goldman Sachs zurück, in der große Schwellenländer identifiziert werden, bei denen ein wirtschaftlicher Aufschwung zu erwarten sein könnte. Südafrika wurde meinem Wissen nach ergänzend aufgenommen, sodass BRICS entstand. Es soll eine möglichst langfristige Anlage in Unternehmensaktien erfolgen, die in den BRICS Ländern Brasilien Russland Indien China Südafrika usw. aktiv sind. Die Haltedauer sollte möglichst langfristig sein. Es soll versucht werden, einen stetigen und langfristigen Wertzuwaches zu erreichen.
