Trading Idea
The investment strategy is based on a systematic, rules-based stock selection process. Its objective is to identify companies that show an above-average combination of valuation, growth, profitability, price momentum, and earnings estimate revisions relative to other companies in the same sector. For each stock, fundamental, market, and analyst-related metrics are evaluated on a sector-relative basis. These inputs are combined into five factor scores: Value, Growth, Profitability, Momentum, and EPS Revisions. The factors are then weighted into a composite rating on a scale from 1.0 to 5.0. Profitability receives the highest weight, followed by Value, Growth, Momentum, and EPS Revisions. Preference is given to stocks with high composite ratings and balanced factor profiles. Additional guardrails limit the rating when several factors are very weak, when earnings trends and analyst revisions deteriorate simultaneously, or when the available data coverage is insufficient. This is intended to prevent a small number of exceptionally strong metrics from masking broader fundamental weaknesses. The portfolio is expected to consist mainly of liquid equities that rank among the strongest candidates within their respective sectors. Positions are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted when the underlying data changes, the relative ranking deteriorates, or stronger alternatives emerge. The strategy is therefore not based on a permanent buy-and-hold approach to individual companies, but on a transparent quantitative selection process aimed at achieving long-term outperformance while maintaining reasonable diversification.
