The portfolio will be invested in a limited number of equities selected with a value approach. An exceptional attention will be put on the cashflow generating ability of the underlying companies, competitive position and entrenchment in the respective industry. Furthermore, management ability and trustworthiness as well as pricing considerations are of the outmost importance. The focus is on long-term capital compounding and therefore short-term volatility is not a concern. On the other hand, the safety of principal in the long-term is of outmost importance. As a result, heavily leveraged business will be avoided under most circumstances with the notable exemption of instances where return characteristics are heavily skewed in our favour.
