Trading Idea

This is a systematic Trend Following strategy focused on medium-term growth. The core philosophy is to identify and hold assets that are technically outperforming the broader market. We use a multi-factor approach that combines Relative Strength (vs. S&P 500), Momentum, and Trend Stability to filter out noise. The system includes a dynamic exit mechanism designed to protect capital in weak assets while allowing high-performance winners enough room to ride major trends. Which assets of the wikifolio investment universe do you plan to trade? The strategy focuses primarily on Global Equities (Stocks). We target high-liquid stocks that show strong momentum characteristics, typically selecting from major indices like the S&P 500 or Nasdaq 100. Based on which criteria do you plan to conduct your trading? Trading is conducted based on a Quantitative Scoring Model. Every potential asset is evaluated weekly and assigned a "Quality Score" (0-100) derived from four key technical pillars: Momentum: Speed of price appreciation. Relative Strength: Performance compared to the benchmark. Consistency: Reliability of the uptrend. Volatility: Preference for stable, controlled growth over erratic spikes. Entries and exits are strictly rule-based, removing emotional discretion. How long do you plan to hold securities on average? The holding period is Medium to Long-term. Since the strategy operates on weekly data to capture major trends, positions are held for as long as the technical trend remains intact. Winners are let run for months or years, while losing positions are cut quickly when technical structure breaks. Which sources do you plan to use for your decision making? Decision making is based 100% on Technical Market Data. We utilize historical price action and index data to calculate our proprietary indicators and scores. No fundamental news or subjective forecasts are used.
