Trading Idea

Outlook for Opportunities soll hauptsächlich in Aktien, Aktienfonds und ausgewählte ETFs investieren.

Comment on MERCK & CO

In the pharma industry, especially in the oncology market, we have a very interesting development. One of the big trends in the market is immune-oncology. Merck, Roche and Bristol-Myers-Squibb are the main players in this field. The biggest market to tackle here is lung cancer. Merck's medicine "Keytruda" was the first on the market and also frequently proved competitiveness. This week, the company stepped back form approving Keytruda at one of the key markets (NSCLC, lung) in Europe. While a lot of analysts and shareholders saw this as a big set back, I see this as a good strategic move. Merck is trying to re-design some of their clinical trials in order to gain a better commercial potential with the updated results. The share price lost more than 10% which is definitely an overreaction to this news. Good opportunity to buy in! show more

Comment on VA-Q-TEC AG

VA-Q-TEC is an extremen interesting German small-sized player within the packaging industry. Their products, vacuum packaging, have a strong market position and are superior in comparison to everything that has been available before. On top, VA-Q-TEC has no competition from Asian markets. I expect that the next financial publications will show an extraordinary revenue as well as an accelerated profit growth. Unfortunately, I bought at a peak of the current chart but I believe that this will still be a cheap investment if you look back in 6 months. Strong buying recommendation! show more

Comment on AMAZON.COM INC. DL-,01

As I bought Amazon, it was clearly undervalued. I'm now at more than 15% plus. I expect that the price will rise a little bit further but soon I will sell and go for some other opportunities. show more

Comment on APPLE COMPUTER INC.

I bought Apple at a price which seemed cheap and undervalued for me. After the take-off of iPhone 8, it took a while for the chart to go up. Now that the iPhone X pre-orders are booming, the share prices are rising. I always thought that Apple is a good buy for a long term position because of the companies huge cash reserves. I will wait a little bit longer and then slowly start to sell some of my holdings in order to go for the next undervalued stocks. show more
