Es wird eine Outperformance des Deutschen Aktienindex DAX angestrebt. Dies soll erreicht werden zum einen durch Reduzierung der Volatilität sowie durch eine Begrenzung der Abwärtsrisiken. Bei der Umsetzung der Strategie werden Discountzertifikate, Bonuszertifikate und Reverse-Bonuszertifikate eingesetzt. Handelsentscheidungen orientieren sich an mittelfristiger Charttechnik und Niveau der Volatilität. Der Erwartungswert der Strategie beträgt 8 bis 10 Prozent pro Jahr. Der maximale Verlust soll 10 Prozent pro Kalenderjahr nicht überschreiten.
