This Porftolfio is based in broad strokes on the umbrella trading theory. Different market signals are being used to select a range of different assets with weighting based on potential and security. Market signals such as polerization, media, and socio-economical factor, chart and financial analysis of the company, innovation potential, and short term growth factors will be used to determine which titles will be included in the portfolio. Generally titles will be bought with a long term strategy in mind versus short term gains. This portfolio wont "play" the market for quick wins, but instead focus on longterm growth. The key differentiating factor to a more classical "Umbrella" strategy is that this portfolio will also take ethical values into consideration. By this, the portfolio will unfortunately deliver a lower year over year yield than a portfolio that solely trades based on economical data, leaving ethics out of the equation. My philosophy however is that we very much vote with our wallets and the way we invest has an impact on how the world around us is being shaped. Therefore the portfolio will exclude companies that are either destroying the environment, are neglacting human rights, use unethical sourcing, or are actively undermining democracy. On the other hand companies that support sustainably sourced materials and sustainable energy practices will receive a bonus in the selection. This portfolio is very open to comments and feedback.
