Ataraxia, which derives from ancient Greek philosophy stands for unperturbedness and tranquility. The idea is a multi-asset fund, that invests like a family office with a holistic portfolio management and balanced risk reward profile. The goal is to be a one-stop-shop investment vehicle, similar to a Berkshire Hathaway stock, in which one can invest to not have to worry about other investments and achieve Ataraxia. Investments can be made in all tradeable securities in all asset classes such as equities, fixed income, metals, currencies, as well as alternatives, such as real estate, private equity, and crypto assets. Additionally, cash positions can be held to react to market conditions, as required. Securities undergo a rigorous selection procedure, which can be categorized into a combination of a value and thematic investment approach. The focus is on quality investments, particularly in stock picking. Investments will always consider trends, e.g. AI & Biotech, and their valuations. The basis will always be fundamental and technical analysis, as well as synthesized information. Generally, the fund’s aim is to create long-term, sustainable value. A rebalancing of asset allocation and single positions will only be undertaken in profit taking or unusual, extraordinary market situations. There is a monthly revision. Investment decisions will be taken through independent research and synthesized information.
