This investment strategy will focus on commodities driven by strong long-term fundamentals and short-terms speculative forces. As a Canadian retail investor, this fund will be heavily biased toward North-American securities. I will invest in companies based on specific criteria: *Quality of management *Ability to raise equity with limited dilution *Near-term catalysts *Exposure to the underlying commodity I don’t intend to limit myself to those criteria if I feel I can generate alpha with a shorter outlook, it is after all, a tactical fund. Most of the candidates will not have positive earnings or strong financial fundamentals, my analysis will be based on soft indicators, some technical analysis and acquired knowledge of the specific sectors.
