Trading Idea
The principles of Marcus Lueders PHD is a multi-asset allocation should generally be based on a different allocation and diversification across different asset classes depending on the market situation and risk/reward ratio in order to achieve the highest possible long-term return. The basic orientation of this wikifolio should be rather offensive wherever possible, i.e. a high equity allocation in attractive market phases and a lower equity allocation or short positions in risky/unattractive market phases (bubble formation, emerging crises, etc.). Investment universe: Investments should generally be made in the following asset classes: - Equities & equity ETFs (main focus) - Bond ETFs - Gold/precious metals in the form of ETFs - Other asset classes such as real estate, commodities, currencies, cryptos, etc. in the form of funds, ETFs/ETPs and investment certificates, if applicable. In most market phases, the main focus of the wikifolio should be on equities. Regional diversification and the basic framework should generally be represented by ETFs, which are then supplemented by individual stocks that I consider attractive. The holding period of individual stocks should be medium to long-term (several months/years), but may also be shorter in exceptional cases depending on the market situation and instrument. In overheated market situations, short instruments (ETFs) should be used to hedge the wikifolio or to profit directly from falling prices.
