Trading Idea
The MHB Capital Growth portfolio is oriented at big, growing, dividend paying and underrated companies with high equity ratios and EBIT margins. There are 20 stocks in the portfolio any time. Firstly, the following criteria for exclusion are used to filter out the stocks in which capital might be invested: - PER > 25 - mean geometric growth of sales over the recent three business years < 12 % - growth of sales in the recent business year < 7 % - mean annual sales over the recent three business years < 1 bn EUR - stock value < 8 EUR - equity ratio < 30 % - mean EBIT margin over the recent three business years < 15 % Of the remaining stocks (usually less than 100), the best 20 are determined using a formula combining the six quantities PER, sales, growth, dividend yield, equity ratio and EBIT margin. Other fundamentals or chart signals might also be taken into account. The capital is redistributed according to these rules every three months. There is no focussing on regions or sectors. The stock ratio is being calculated using stock, gold and oil prizes; it lays between 20 and 80 %. The remainder is invested in gold and oil. Investments are not commented since the decisions are made transparent through this description. There is no guarantee that the portfolio matches these criteria at any given point of time.
